Well... This morning I woke up $175 poorer and that didn't feel great and now I'm about to go to bed after doing a ton of online damage {and walking Third Street Promenade} so now I feel even LESS great...
To say the least -- Last night was the last day to deal with the ticket I got last month and if you watched my vlog, you'd know that that was something I was not planning on dealing with. To keep things short and sweet, I got a ticket for "texting and driving" which is NOT what happened. I offered the officer my phone to take a look at anything and everything and he's the one who denied it. He then let me off with a "warning" and told me I had to go to the Ventura Courthouse by the 30th of July to check in and he told me I wouldn't have to pay... I appeared and my citation wasn't even in the system two weeks later. I then received mail two days before I headed to San Diego this past weekend...
I couldn't even fight my freakin ticket so I had to pay freakin $175...
THAT'S ABOUT TWO WHOLE DAYS OF WORK IF YOU'RE GETTING PAID CALIFORNIA'S MINIMUM WAGE AND HAVING TO PAY TAXES!!
Not freakin ideal SO honestly, I probably shouldn't have done all the damage I just did but oh whaleeeeee...
As part of my increased YouTube content, I'll be sure to do a haul once I receive stuff I ordered online... To get a lil bit of your excitement up, I'll just let you know that I am expecting an order from Sephora, Algenist, and Fredrick Fekkai.
ALSO -- In relation to upcoming YouTube content {aka: you should probably subscribe} I am going to a Bloggers Who Brunch event on Saturday SOOOO I figured that Saturday would be a GREAT day to film a "Day In My Life" video. Not to mention, I still need to edit the video from a while ago that includes three other {or more like 2.25} events.
So much to do... So little time... AM I RIGHT?!
NOW -- Can we PUHHH-LEASEEEE take a moment and talk about Bachelorette?!
If y'all are subscribed to my YouTube channel, you'd know that I've had some Pilot Peter type run ins, and one day I was walking his neighbor stopped me cause she loved Kona's mohawk and then she ended up just going on and on and on and on and on about how incredible Peter is {she literally just kept telling me how Peter is marriage material}. This is before he was eliminated BUT she proceeded to tell me that he wasn't picked and then she also told me Jed won {which I knew because I always read Reality Steve before the season... oops}.
You would think she wouldn't tell people though that she just met because... well... SPOILER!!
But she told me anyways and then proceeded to tell me that Hannah and Jed had broken up and ended their engagement not too long after. ANOTHER SPOILER but this time, one I didn't read about or look up. Obviously I knew there was a lil sticky situation when it came to Jed because the whole "girlfriend" thing came out a while ago BUT I didn't know if they were going to try to work through it or what...
SOOOO when it comes to Jed, what are your thoughts?!
First of all, I do not want a guy proposing me through a guitar song {unless he's famous for something other than a dog food jingle lol}. The proposal was just so cringe-y to me but maybe I just know what I want...? If you're my future hubby, check out my Pinterest board if you wanna see what kinda future I have in mind {kinda kidding and kinda not haha}. Also, when it came to Hannah and Jed talking about the "girlfriend" or "just the friend who is a girl who he said 'I love you' to and traveled to exotic places with," was it just me or did Jed look TOTALLY uninterested in the discussion. Not only could he not keep up with his own freakin story, but he wasn't even trying to fight back to win the love // trust of Hannah again. BYE FELICIA!!
NOW -- I'm sure y'all are expecting me to bring up Tyler...
I have come to not disappoint SO let's get chattin cause I would LOVE to know your thoughts in regard to him...
Obviously, I'm one of THOUSANDS {and at this point one of more than a million if you peep his insta g} to think he's not shabby looking, BUT love isn't about looks. I know so many people were swooning over him because his rockin bod {and I know I would GLADLY bake cookies on those abs too} but people were also falling for him via television because of so much more. Tyler was close to his family, he knew how to treat Hannah {aka he was respectful unlike a ton of a**holes I've dealt with}, he knew exactly what to say, etc.; HOWEVER, isn't that how every guy should act?!
If I personally am looking at the big picture {and this may just be my point of view}, that's how my brother treats his girlfriend, that's how my dad treats my mama, that's how my grandpa treats my nana, etc. Everybody is claiming Tyler to be one of a kind, which he also owes to production's editing, but there are so many other fish in the sea. In ALL of Bachelor history, Tyler has gained the greatest following on social media {now putting him at 1.4M followers}.
ALSO, am I the only person who is against Tyler agreeing to "grabbing a drink" with Hannah?!?! I'm not against him saying yes because I want him for myself {although I wouldn't be opposed lol} BUT he was basically her second choice and now he's her freakin rebound?!
Okie... I am officially done with my rant and I hope you made it through all that.
If you did -- I wanna let you know that I WILL be bringing back the FMF this Friday so stay tuned. I also have some exciting things coming up: A Bloggers Who Brunch event on Saturday, a "Day in my Life" vlog that I'm planning on recording on Saturday and then posting by the end of the weekend, some exciting collaborations {some of which include promo codes}, and more!!
Love you all and thanks for your endless support!!
xoxo V
