IDK if y'all have noticed it as much as me... Butttt IT. IS. EVERYWHERE!! And by "it," I mean the color yellow.
Honestly, I was NEVER a fan of yellow but I think this year it is starting to grow on me and I am trying to find some of the cutest yellow clothes I can to fill that void in my closet. By searching for myself though, I figured I would save you guys the time as well and make this post one that you can shop from {Friday's festival style guide is the same way too btw}... Just click on the item you wanna buy and BOOM you'll be redirected in a new window // tab.
HOWEVER -- I am starting to like telling y'all stories before the "main attraction" or the main reason why I am even posting a blog in the first place... Friday's was about somebody trying to basically buy me to go on a date {check out the festival guide if you missed that story} but today I figured I would share a lil bit on how my weekend went. Long story short: On Saturday, I was meeting some girls for brunch in Santa Monica. As I was walking into Brick + Mortar {which I highly recommend BUT it sucks that they don't take reservations BUTTTT $22 bottomless mimosas}, a homeless man just kept yelling to me that I had "thunder thighs."
Like... Thanks dude... Thank goodness I am walking to a place with bottomless mimosas {cause girls tend to be self-conscious about their bodies if you didn't know that already}.
OH -- Also Nick Viall {and if you don't know him, I think he was on Bachelorette once, he was the bachelor once, and he's been to Paradise three times so far} was RIGHT THERE when he said that and then just stared at me weird and didn't say a single thing to the dude... So truly I know why he hasn't "found love" on ABC yet... Maybe this year in paradise it will work out for you, Nick.
Also, mid brunch none of us were getting any cell service, so you best believe I went to a hair salon and bought a water to get connected to their WiFi that didn't work and then went next door to a coffee shop to buy a cup of somewhat that was made from the outside of a coffee bean {gross... I don't even like coffee and this was way too sweet} BUT the mimosas made me do it.
Fast forward to after brunch {which was over two hours because of the wait}... We went to Bungalow {basic, I know} BUT apparently I had pepper in my teeth the whole time and NOBODY TOLD ME!! We were there for maybe two to three hours and it wasn't until I ran into my cousin that I was told I had pepper in my teeth which was OBVIOUSLY from my salad at brunch.
Note to self {and all you other ladies out there}: Either use your front camera or go to the bathroom and check yourself before you embarrass yourself for hours at a time.
NOW -- Back to the blog post... TIME TO SHOP SOME SUPER CUTE THINGS IN ONE OF THE TRENDIEST COLORS OF THE SEASON!!
xoxo V
