Because I have gotten SOOO many questions from people {starting with my lash lady to people DMing me on insta g} asking me what the Bachelor’s Ball is, I figured I would write a post about it!!
From around 8:00 at night on a Friday until around 4:00 in the morning on Sunday, the Bachelor’s Ball is LA’s largest and most elite party. At least those are the hours of the actual party BUT you best believe that the preparties begin as early as people check into the Beverly Hills Hilton…
Lucky for us, and if you remember from my post on Friday, we were running a lil later than planned. Let’s just say we originally had planned lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel {we gave ourselves 2.5 hours for this}, DryBar appointments, MAC makeup appointments, and then check-in either after the appointments or between lunch and our appointments. Due to the cancelled flights, I picked up in-n-out on the way to the airport instead and then we just ate them on the way to Beverly Hills. What appointment we ACTUALLY made was our makeup appointment {which made me breakout like crazyyyyy so I’m in need of a facial} and then we went to another hair salon when we were turned down by DryBar.
Fast forward to us checking into the hotel around 6:30 pm…
The events went a lil like this: Get dressed, touch up our hair, touch up our lips, put some flash tats on, cover ourselves ion sparkles, and SHOTS!! Yupp… We took shots on practically empty stomachs but the pregame in our room was worth it with a few other people.
Now — For what y’all have been waiting to read… THE BACHELOR’S BALL.
Of course we were fashionably late {but we already had our wristbands}. If you’re asking why we needed wristbands, it’s because the Bachelor’s Ball is a party that you can only go to if you are invited by somebody in the “Bachelor’s Club of LA.” If you wanna know more about the club, you can Google it BUT long story short, you can join the club after college but you get kicked out if {or when} you get married.
Upon being invited to the party, you are required to send all information on your ID card. The party is for people 21 and over, so once the “bachelor” checks into the party, he is given all the wristbands to pass out to his guests.
ANYWHOO, the ball is a MASSIVE costume party. Each table’s bachelor has the opportunity to come up with their own theme for his guests to follow. We saw a group of ballerinas {yes, majority guys}, Lakers players, Disney characters, royals, among others. Some years there have even been living animals that make their way into the party like a bear or huge snake.
The party is crazy!! I truly wish I had more pictures and videos from it but I was honestly too preoccupied on the dance floor and left my phone at the table… Picture a massive costume party, a live band, fun lights and a disco ball, an open bar, a few elevated surfaces, and a bunch of drunk people. Not to mention, the dance floor was a lil elevated too so people were wiping out on the edges of that as well {one being my brother}. And did I mention we were served a four course meal that was BOMBBBBB?!
Well… That’s how our night went and let’s face it, there was NO way that we were going to last until 4:00 in the freakin morning so Tati and I called it a night around 1:30 am and I called in some room service {aka chicken nugs and fries… aka the BEST decision of the night… aka probably our savior in the morning}.
Hopefully we’ll be returning next year!!
