Happy Friday babes!!
I hope you guys are liking it now that I am posting more content and more consistently... It's definitely keeping me busy, but I lalaLOVE hearing from you guys about your thoughts and everything.
Also I wish I made this a completely different post cause I could probably rant about this forever BUTTTTT yesterday my car broke down and it was absolutely terrible. Of course it turned on for me to get to work but when I finally got to go home early, it decided to not turn on and then it took an hour for AAA to get to me. I was waiting in my burning hot car in a parking garage in Texas... BURNING HOT!! But, my boss ended up hanging out with me {so shoutout Steve}.
By the time AAA came, the basically told me my battery was a goner and if I was going to park my car somewhere, even if it was just for like 5 minutes, it wouldn't start up again without cables jumpstarting it. YouTube, I think I need you to teach me how to jumpstart my own car. And to make matters worse, I freaked out and decided to go to the dealership and sit for two hours {cancelling nannying} to get my battery replaced.
Now -- That rant's over.
I know that a TON of y'all have been anticipating this post {cause of all the Insta stories I have shown parts of it in} and I SO wish I could've posted it earlier, like when I got flower deliveries from people as house warming gifts, BUT my place just wasn't quite complete yet... I had some issues with my wall decor... It again fell down after 4 hours with 30 FREAKIN COMMAND STRIPS ON IT {someone send help plz n thx}.
I AM NOW ALL SETTLED IN THOUGH AND I AM OBSESSED WITH MY PLACE!! {Side note: not too obsessed that I won't move out BUT that's another stress point in my life and I think I need a massage just thinking about that}.
I moved in the last weekend of July, and if you kept up with the move, you would know it was QUITE the time... We hired Texas based movers who were awesome but we also had a slight issue where three of my main pieces of furniture were stuck on an elevator for almost four hours. To say the least, it was a cluster BUT it eventually worked out.
Once everything was finally moved in though, it was smooth sailing. I got to reorganize my clothes {and if you want more of a closet haul // tour just message me}, I got to donate some things to Goodwill just down the street from me, and my mama helped me with the decor which OF COURSE just pulled everything together.
My mom also found my stash of candles which I LOVE {and I recognize I could practically own a Bath and Body Works but I am all about the smell of my house} and she was not too thrilled about how many I own.
If you couldn't tell from the lil video tour and photos I am OBSESSED with candles and you can find them in EVERY room of my apartment. Now I know there are only technically three rooms: my bedroom, my bathroom, and my living room which is connected to my kitchen, BUT you can find at least one candle {if not two or three} in every part of my house. I swear candles are like crack cocaine to me.
A little secret I want to give you: I FOUND AN ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION FOR CANDLES!!
Literally my moms worst nightmare BUT my biggest dream. Vellabox is an online candle subscription that you can pay $10 to $30 per month depending on the type of package you want and they will send you a hand poured // high quality candle every month. The first one that I received from them, it was as though they knew I was a beachy person and I just DIEDDDDD from the smell of it. I always look forward to getting new candles and if {or when} you subscribe, the surprise scent of the month will just knock your socks off.
