Beauty Kitchen

Hey y’all!! Attached to this blog post you will find BUNCHES of beauty hacks. They are so so SO simple and created just by using things found in your kitchen. I have heard about a couple of these around town, so I decided to test them out for myself. They work like MAGIC and are all 100% natural!!

DRY & DAMAGED HAIR?!?

  • Simple!! Just mix a concoction of avocado, mayonnaise, olive oil, and honey in a big bowl and mix until it is creamy. No it does not smell delightful, BUT your hair will be renewed and refreshed. DO NOT wash your hair with shampoo after because that will rinse out all of the natural oils you just put in. To get rid of the smell, just use conditioner!! In order for you to get the full effect of this hair mask, you must keep your hair lathered for AT LEAST fifteen minutes. For best results continue to use this natural hair mask every two weeks.

DRY & FLAKEY FACE?!?

  • First rub a little bit of pineapple on your face and leave it for about ten minutes. You can use the part of the pineapple you cut off {and were going to trash} OR you can use fresh chunks. The acid within the pineapple will help with blackheads. Once you let that sit, rinse your face with warm water and then lather your face with honey. The honey will serve as a moisturizing face mask and will leave your face feeling like velvet.

BROWN SPOTS?!?

  • depending on the size AND the darkness of the spots, you will have to continue this process as much as you feel necessary. Just peel a banana and rub the inside of the banana peel on your dark spots. As you continue to rub the peel on you for the next couple weeks or months, you will notice the spot to get lighter or even disappear.

SENSITIVE FACIAL SKIN?!?

  • I personally have the MOST sensitive skin EVER, so I know what it is like to have face wash and moisturizers irritate my skin. Easy substitute for a harsh facial wash would be to mix granulated sugar with Johnson’s baby body wash. The body was is meant for the body of an infant and therefor is extremely gentle, while the sugar adds a natural exfoliant.

I will continue to try new {and natural} beauty tricks; however, these are the few that I know of as of now. If you have any other ideas or suggestions on what to try do not hesitate to shoot me an email on the “About/ Connect” page!! I love hearing from you guys!! ALSO if you have any other suggestions of what I should blog about, do not hesitate to let me know!!
