Dear Daddy,
I know there are times when I do not show it, but I really do love you and respect you more than you know. You are the one guy I can always rely on and I know that you will always stand by my side no matter what. I figured I would post this to my blog cause you claim you keep checkin it out, so I guess this will be the real test {therefore if you read this, I’m interested in hearing from you}… I can’t even believe you've been able to tolerate me for nineteen years, and I praise you because I know us girls can be pretty emotional and I am a sassy one.
Thank you for all your years of love an support in everything I do. Thank you for coming to all my dance recitals {because I know they are SOOOO long}. Thank you for making me a beach baby at the age of one and teaching me to surf at the age of four. Thank you for teaching me how to shred on the slopes of Mammoth, and how to waterski in over one hundred degree weather in Lake Mead. Thank you for having a love in traveling and taking me to breathtaking places in the world. Thank you for showing me what kind of man I am looking to marry in the future.
You are the goofiest dude I think I have ever come across, and although you like to embarrass me wherever we go, you are making memories for me that will last a lifetime. I will never forget the times you have yelled “BABYYYY!!!” with your arms wide open, running towards me… to pick me up from high school {when the rest of the parents waited in the car pickup lane}. I will never forget the time you blasted “I’m too Sexy” and started dancing on the boat in front of mom and me. And I will never forget the times we have spent together just talking.
You are truly and amazing man, and I know I sound bias when I say this, but you are the greatest dad any girl could wish to have. You have taught me so so much and so far {I’d say} I’ve turned out pretty amazing.
For future note, I do give you permission to pull out your gun to clean when I bring a boy home, because as of now you have nothing to worry about. I love you to the moon and back!! xoxo
