Oh my goodness, what a sweet time it was celebrating one of my best friends for her BACHELORETTE!! Eva Weston Amble, I canNOT wait to be a part of your special day and watch as you walk down the aisle to the man of your dreams.
Monday morning, we woke up just like any other day and Tori and I quickly grabbed some Rollin n Bowlin {best acai bowls I have been able to find in Fort Worth} and no later than 11:00 am with in hand, we were on way to AUSTIN, TX. To keep us entertained for the four hours in traffic, we just did the usual… blast music and sing throwback songs {link} like our lives depended on it.
When we arrived to the adorable AirBNB, we walked into a bachelorette wonderland: pink sparkly things everywhere, penis shaped candy, confetti and balloons down the halls, a pool full of heart floats, etc. The set up was ADORABLE!!
Once we were all designated to rooms {Tori and I were given the child’s room with a bunk bed and TONS of scary stuffed animals}, we all met back downstairs for her LINGERIE PARTY {yes, fuzzy handcuffs were part of what I gave her... You're welcome Thomas} and to kiss a blank paper which would then be framed for Eva to remember all of her bridesmaids.
We then got ready for the evening {and let’s just be clear that putting two broken toes into heals is NOT fun} and then went back downstairs to make a toast to the soon-to-be bride. After a couple of cocktails later, we loaded up a couple of Ubers and then headed to Hula Hut for some yummy margaritas and Tex mex. If you have been to Austin but you have never been to Hula Hut, it is somewhere I highly recommend, as the atmosphere is fun and you are right on the lake… I think I’ve been there four times already!! Going out on 6th Street on a Monday did not last long but it was a fun time with sweet girls and before we knew it, we were getting into bed.
The next morning we had some of the most FULFILLING breakfast food ever. In preparation for my “summer-bod” I was sure to get the cinnamon roll pancakes with frosting {hehe}. Once we were stuffed to the brim, we headed back to the house and had a nice day, full of mimosas and floating in the pool.
By around 5:00 pm, we were all showered and ready to take showers before din. After another round of stuffing our faces with carb-y food {i.e. pasta} we headed back to the house for what guys think girls do EVERY sleepover they have…
MATCHING PJS AND DANCE PARTY {but nope, no pillow fight where the feathers fly everywhere}. Our last night in Austin was full of music, butter popcorn, candy, laughter, and dancing. Boy was it a weekend full of celebrating!!
Now, until my next adventure, I'm sorry all I had for y'all was a quick Austin bachelorette trip.
xoxo V
