After a quick two weeks in California, I am OFFICIALLY back to the humid state of Texas and who knows when I will be out and about again. It is so weird to think about being back in the United States, unable to explore a different part of the world each weekend, but hey, I guess I gotta get some studying done in order to allow me to do so in the future!!
Because I was the last of my roommates to move in {there are five of us in one house}, I was also yet to purchase any of my furniture… I was a bit preoccupied in Europe to worry about that, but now that the time has come to move in, it took a few runs to my storage unit, a bunch runs to different antique stores throughout the state of Texas to choose lil things that I want in my room but that also match, a couple of runs to actual furniture stores and department stores, AND about one day worth of movers walking up and down three stories helping me move all my furniture. ALSO, when they were supposed to arrive one more day to help with one last load of antiques, they didn't BUT HAVE NO FEAR because my dad was basically forced into driving my car from California to Texas by himself due to complications with the car transportation company. THANKS DAD FOR DOING THAT!! Not only would I not have my car without him driving it out {resulting in me most likely having to Uber to class}, but also I wouldn't have all of my shoes and clothes from home because that was my main means of transportation for all that stuff.
Now, lets get to the good part though, because I know a lot of you are interested in seeing the completion of my room and decorating. It was DEFINITELY a longgggggggg process, but the result makes me NEVER want to move out {but those of you who know me, know I will be back in California in a heartbeat when I finally graduate}.
Here’s the before picture of my room… BORINGGGGG and full of boxes storing my life!!
Here are the after photos of my room {although my bed’s headboard has yet to arrive BUT it’s super cute and blue too}. To say the very least, I am obsessed, so thank you mama for all your time, sweat, and muscles in regards to fixing up my humble abode!!
Hopefully there will be some travel posts in the near future, but until then, thanks for reading!!
