Everybody needs a break and after just two weeks in Texas, I already feel like I need a new adventure… Now that I don't have the ability to fly to a new country every stinkin weekend, a three hour drive to Austin {Texas… not a boy!!} for Labor Day Weekend did just fine.
I decided to head down during halftime of the TCU football game because we were winning and then I stayed for two nights with Lauren and her mama.
When I arrived only Lauren was awake; however, waking up to the smell of turkey bacon and scrambled eggs with the view of a beautiful lake in the morning was incredible. We got to eat on the porch with the company of a praying mantis and once we had finished, we packed up all of our stuff and headed down to the lake to spend the morning on the boat.
We got to wakeboard, wake surf, and tube around the entire lake and our driver trusted me so much {surprising, right?} that he let me pull him and take him on a wild tube ride as well. We made the most of the morning, fulfilling our mimosa cravings and soaking up the sun.
Once we had finished on the lake, we headed back to the hotel and enjoyed a dip in the pool, becoming friends with the bartenders and drinking yummy cocktails. Let’s just say is was a weekend we will never forget, and the one word I would use to describe the weekend would be: WOW!!
Well… That’s all for now BUT I promise to keep y'all updated on where I go next!!
