Hola amigos!! I have been meaning to blog the past two days; however, getting adapted to this place has gotten in the way… Honestly, I took some pretty decent photos from a small tour of Madrid I went on, as well as a small town named Segovia. I would say I would load some of them but then life threw some obstacles in my direction. There was a possibility that this place was too good to be true, and it has finally been proven to me.
Our first night here, we went to this HUGE, seven story, club named Kapital. Every floor had a different theme, but eventually we made it to the floor level and were standing face to face with the stage. Ultimately, I ended up meeting a super sweet Spaniard and we exchanged phone numbers and whatnot, but now fast forward to last night, and it was somewhat of a catastrophe. Personally, I would have NEVER thought that Mondays were for going out, but these Spanish people are CRAZY and LOVEEEE going out. We went to get tapas {which are just appetizers} for dinner as well as drinks to begin the night… Eventually a smaller group of guys ended up joining us at our table and told us where to go out cause they spoke a slight amount of English. Would you ever believe that a name of a bar // club in Spain is F**king Mondays {minus the asterisks}?! Well… We went there.
We were able to get two drinks each for ten euros, and we just walked around and danced. Later in the night I realized somebody had pick pocked me, which of course puts a damper on anybody’s night. Thankfully they did NOT take my keys or wallet {which were both next to it}, but still… Not something that was on my checklist for Spain. Now I need to figure out how to communicate with the Apple store in Spanish because NOBODY here really speaks English and it is SUCH a struggle.
Send prayers {or money for a new iPhone} my way por favor!!
xoxo v
