For those of you who know me -- Hey!! Hi!! How you doinnnn?!
For those of you who are new here -- WELCOME!! I can't wait for y'all to get a better taste of my life. It's a crazy one... I live at home with my parents {I think I'm going to celebrate my quarter life crisis with them in quarantine and with no job}, I talk about anything and everything on my blog {I am grossly transparent and share nothing but the truth with y'all}, and I'm funemployed {I did have a job for about a month but it really wasn't the place for me... you can watch my first week on the job HERE}. Basically, as of last week I was back on my "funemployment schedule." I've been applying to jobs {still no luck}, I've been going to the beach {t-goodness cause it truly keeps me sane even if it's just for an hour or two}, and I have decided to pick up my blog again because I NEED MONEY.
Clarification: I am very fortunate my parents allow me to live at home with them and I'm not required to pay rent BUT if I wanna go out to din {aka: get food to go} or grab a "socially distant drink" or go online shopping, it's all on my own dime. SOOOOO this blog {as well as the tab that allows you to shop my insta feed}, is my way of making a small amount of commission.
NOW -- It's been a minute since I've been here {105 days to be exact} and I wish I could say not much has been happening with my life in the past couple of months but that would make me a complete and utter liar. Quarantine has been one MASSIVE clusterf*ck: I've gained the "quarantine fifteen" {anyone have a gym I can secretly workout at?}, I've developed feelings for someone I said I wouldn't {yikes}, my face has been the worst it's been in years {I think I'll blame the mask}, I stopped doing something I loved {aka blogging BUT I'm back babyyyy}, and so much more BUTTTTT I'll to do a full quarantine update for y'all soon.
Let's get to it though...
I figured, what's a better time to reappear on the internet than the best time of year, following Christmas of course.
If you are a "Nordy Club Member" {shoutout to all my fellow shopaholics}, you are going to want to be aware of the dates below because your early access to the anniversary sale can be as soon as tomorrow; HOWEVER, if you're just a "normal gal // guy" who wants to shop the sale, you're going to have to wait and shop the dates between August 19th and 30th... Don't worry though, this post isn't going anywhere so make sure you pop on back to my blog and shop it through my my post!! I'm currently trying to make back $2,200 I lost in a scam while I was employed last month {I'm not kidding when I say, my first week of work was THE WORST ever}.

Before we get started {sorry, one last thing} -- If you're a returning reader, thank you for stopping by and I'm sure you remember {maybe... I mean it has been like 1/3 of the year almost} how my posts work. If you're new here... This is a click to shop post!! FASHION:
I promise that everything I have linked down below are brands that I love and wear on the daily {if I'm not in a bikini or too lazy to get out of my granny panties and oversized shirt from Target}, some things I already own, or items that are on my own personal wishlist. I literally went through 35+ pages of ALL the anniversary sale items to put together this post for you and I would NEVER promote or link things that I am genuinely not a fan of. I swear, you will find the next sexy thong you wanna wear for your man when you feel chunky {even though your beautiful and your man obvi loves all your curves}, Spanx that will suck you in for the wedding you're being forced to attend right when quarantine ends {I wore mine for my cousin's wedding, and I promise they're a game changer}, the lounge set of your dreams {cause we all know that quarantine is going to go until November at least}, among so much more!!
FITNESS:
I kid you not, I have gained MORE than the "quarantine fifteen" that I mentioned in the beginning of this post and the last thing I want to do is put on a pair of jeans {although I put on a pair just last week and it started out fine but ended in me driving home with my pants unbuttoned // unzipped}. I have been trying to exercise {almost} daily {Linda, I miss you and the studio!!}. I have exercised my fingers though by inputting my card info and buying three pairs of workout shoes and a couple new pairs of leggings this quarantine though {and I think I finally memorized my card number}, so heck knows I'll be doing some more damage on some new athleisure stuff to wear post quarantine!!
SKINCARE & BEAUTY:
You already freakin know I am obsessed with all things skincare and beauty {or at least you already know if you know me... if not, you now know I am literally OBSESSED}!! I have gotten my brother on a skincare routine, I have tried enlightening some of my other guy friends on new products and routines {Austin and Dylan, I'm talking to you}, and so many of my girlfriends // female followers {and even my lash gal who is also an esthetician} have asked me for recommendations. I am a skincare product whore, and if that's wrong then I don't wanna be right!! I have super sensitive skin so I have to be extremely careful with what I put on it and I research all the products I use prior to using them {or prior to including them in a blog post}. Below you will find the scrunchies that I wear on the daily {so much so that some are no longer their original color or randomly will re-appear on the neck of a wine bottle in the fridge}, the sun-care products of your dreams {I've worked with them but I have also tried so many other brands and I manage to always fall back to these and make my friends use them too}, a BeautyBio gift set that has been on my wishlist since I could remember, and sooooo much more!!
HOME:
Holy heck... You know one of the worst things that I blame COVID for?! The fact that I am STILL living with my parents because two days before the pandemic began and life was put on hold {anyone even remember what life was like before masks became a fashion statement?!}, I had a job in Santa Monica locked in and I was so damn ready to move my apartment out of my garage and into an actual place to call my own. Seriously, one of my FAVORITE things of all time is shopping for home goods and decor {and since I can't do that for myself, I have gotten HOOKED on watching apartment tours on YouTube}. Unfortunately, there isn't THAT much stuff that's going to be a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {I think there were only like 6 pages total of "home" stuff}; BUT, I was able to pick out some of my favorites... and again if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for candles, blankets, and pillows!!
If you have made it through this ENTIRE post, I hope you made it through an ENTIRE bottle of wine as well cause heck knows we all deserve a nice bottle of pinot grigio {or whatever else tickles your fancy} at this point of quarantine. I sure as heck know that a lot of my quarantine weight is from margaritas and Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio, but I'd rather be happy and tipsy than bored and sad that all my favorite places are basically closed and I can't go in without having to wear a mask.
