All the Details


Hello and happy Thursday beautiful people!!

I hope everybody is having a FABULOUS week so far... To fill you in {super quickly} on why I've been MIA: You know I had a hectic week last week {if you follow me on insta g} cause YO GURL PASSED HER REAL ESTATE EXAM!! I literally drove all the dang way to San Diego to take it cause the "Los Angeles facility" {which is actually inland of Long Beach} didn't have availability for over a month. Anyways, now that I have my license, it's time to find myself a big girl's job!! If anybody has any suggestions or knows anybody who would want to employ yo gurl, just shoot me a message... Also, over the weekend, I had one of my good friend's birthdays {shoutout Sav} and then Tuesday I was on set of 911 Lone Star for over 16 hours AND THEN Wednesday {yesterday} I had jury duty starting at 8:00 am... Talk about BUSY!!

NOW -- I know sooooo many of y'all have been waiting for this post... Honestly, I have too BUT I had no time to do any copywriting or editing {photos or the vlog} with the whole real estate thing. That being said, the YouTube will be posted at a later time BUT I still wanted to fill y'all in on ALL of the details of my party.

To say the least: WE GOT FREAKIN WILD!!

{I'm not kidding when I say that... I think 60% ended up puking... and that may be TMI but it was just cause we booze cruised a lil too hard}

Let's get started...

THE SET UP:

To say that my mama KILLED the decorations game would definitely be an understatement. I left for Long Beach for one morning and then the next day I returned to a totally insane dining room table. I am talking about zebra stripes, banana leaves, real plants everywhere, animals, the whole shebang... We were quite LITERALLY in an actual tropical jungle. Also, don't even get me started with the balloons because my mama and I spent an entire night watching movies and blowing them up {talk about light headed} and then I put my middle school spirit team skills to use and made the balloon garlands. I will now be taking any requests for parties {*wink wink*}. Below I have linked the majority of the decor that was used AND all you have to do is click to shop!!

BABE -- You guessed it... BABE was part of the set up, part of the boat, and part of ALL THE FUN {keep reading this blog post to see what thefatjewish said about my party}. I have been so fortunate to work with BABE before and I have kept such a great relationship with the company, so I love having the opportunity to work with them continuously.

The amount of people I have introduced to BABE, I can't even count on my hands and toes... BOYS INCLUDED!! I swear, I have guys that have transitioned from beer to BABE Wine {red, grigio, and rosé} because I bet you didn't expect it to be 13% alcohol AND I bet you didn't expect four cans to be equivalent to 1.25 bottles of wine... ALSO would you believe me if I told y'all that in the span of seven hours we drank NINE BOXES {that means 36 cans} OF WINE?!

Honestly, I'm as shook as you are {just typing about it gives me a hangover lol} but the day and night were definitely UNFORGETTABLE... Thanks to the videos and photos {lol kinda somewhat kidding}. To find some BABE nearest you, click HERE!!

VITAL PROTEINS -- It is ALL about balance babyyyyy!! I'm talking about "wine and refresh" and that would NOT have been possible without the amazing package from Vital Proteins for my birthday!! Also, thank goodness they sent me enough of the collagen waters for the girls to have them not only on the boat {to stay hydrated and cause of balance, yah know?} but also for in the morning to revive ourselves and keep many of us from raging hangovers.

For those of y'all who don't know what Vital Proteins is {or who have seen it on a bunch of influencers stories // posts but are still curious}, let me just fill you in a little bit. Vital Proteins promotes nothing but a healthy lifestyle {relating to health, fitness, and natural beauty} and they "do that by providing nourishing collagen and promoting our production of collagen - an essential nutrient stripped from our diets by modern food-processing." Everything is sourced from the freshest and most natural products and then they ultimately create products that help "each person live a fuller, more vibrant life."

For those of you who can't see what products they sent me based on this photo, I'll fill yah in... They sent me the Strawberry Lemon Collagen Water {and I am actually so bummed I missed the release party they invited me to in Chicago a few months ago} which is used to provide your body with immediate and maximum benefits, and let me tell you... It was so good that the girls wanted to take some home with them and I actually had two girls text me saying they placed orders when they got home. Vital Proteins also was so sweet and sent individual Collagen Peptides packets for all of the girls to take home. This powder is used to help the growth of your hair and your nails AND it is used to maintain strong skin, bones, and joints. Did I mention that you aren't limited to adding the collagen to water?! I personally haven't done this little trick yet; however, Delaney Childs has talked about adding the powder to some of her homemade soups and I think it's absolutely GENIUS... The next time I make soup {aka: probably next weekend}, I'll definitely try it out and let y'all know my thoughts SO make sure you follow me on insta-g.

THE ORDER OF EVENTS {planned}:

Guys, I literally had a schedule for how the day was going to go down... From the moment my babes arrived, to the hour we go to bed {which wasn't followed lol}, to the moment everybody left. Are you ready for it?!

2:00 pm: arrival & photos

3:30 pm: head to the boat

4:00 pm: booze cruise

8:00 pm: head back to the house for din

8:15 pm: din & birthday cake

9:30 pm: revive & refresh

bedtime

9:00 am: wake up

9:30 am: breakfast & movie

12:00 pm: leave

Don't even ask me if that actually happened though because you best believe that I wasn't lying about the alcohol consumption and the amount of girls who yacked {sorry, trying to think of different ways of saying it cause... GROSS... But I too am guilty}. Let's get to more of the good stuff now though, cause I know that's what y'all actually came to this blog post for...

THE WELCOME GOODIES:

Let me just tell you, my babes and I were HOOKED UP!! Not only did I have the opportunity to work with some amazing companies {which I'll obviously go through each one individually with y'all} but my mama also insisted in more AND I wanted to give each of my girls a So Cali Creations sweatshirt to rep... We'll get to some of that later though SO just keep on reading...

If this table does not immediately grasp your attention, I think you may need to get out more... This was what mama and I set up to be the first thing the girls would see upon walking into the party. This is truly where the magic began because this is where all the lovely jewels were located for the girls to collect prior to beginning ANY photos. Let me just tell you too, I worked with TWO of my FAVORITE companies when it came to this spread {both of which I have worked with on a professional level before} and I could NOT wait to show my babes what brands they need to start getting their hands on. I already know based on insta stories I've posted including these brands' jewelry, some girls have bought pieces of their own and tagged me in their posts {so any day I get a goodie from either of these companies is a good day}.

ARIA LATTNER -- Are you obsessed yet?! I mean, just based on the photos I kinda wish all the pieces were for me BUT one day I will have a collection of beautiful jewels like this JUST FOR ME!! Aria Lattner has some of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry y'all could ever imagine... I'm talking about pieces dipped in true metals {sterling silver, gold, etc} and that uses beautiful stones AND that is fashionable!!

Anyways, I first learned about this company via a PR company that I work with and I am so so happy I have had the opportunity to work with them the amount I do because my collection continues to grow and I continue to get the best compliments on their jewelry. Who can argue with quality and beauty?!

Now, I don't know if anybody else noticed {by looking at the photos}, but Aria Lattner sent a spread of items for my party: They were all from the release of their Rihanna line {which I think is my favorite of their lines up to date}. I got a selection of rings, chokers, bracelets, and earrings AND each girl got to take home a single piece of the Rihanna line... Talk about a dream {and talk about a reason to do some online shopping and complete the set}.

ETTIKA -- Three words for y'all: Cute, stylish, and AFFORDABLE!! I seriously love any and all Ettika pieces I own and they {no joke} take up a lot of space in my jewelry box {which I have also had so many people ask me about}. But seriously guys, Ettika is the PERFECT brand for all your stacking needs, which we ALL know is SOOOO in right now {and my mama even got creative and displayed the pieces on two of the blow up animals to show you how they stack}. Literally every piece of jewelry by Ettika can be paired with any piece of jewelry though and I am so beyond lucky to have had the ability to work with them for my birthday celebration because they sent me two of THE CUTEST pieces for my girls to choose from: Medallions of Mine Layered 18kt Gold Plated Coin Necklace Set AND Carmine Layered Gold & Crystal Lariat Necklace.

Not to mention, they even wrote me a personalized note for my birthday!! Like how much better is your day when you receive a handwritten letter?! I don't know about y'all but I enjoy snail mail WAYYYY more than text messages {hence why I probably have over 42 texts at a time}.

Anyways, the girls were ecstatic to choose their Ettika pieces, and I think it was just another tough decision for them {in addition to the Aria Lattner piece} because after seeing the jewels, who wants to stop after just choosing after just one thing?! I even will admit that I'm wearing my Carmine Layered Gold and Crystal Lariat Necklace as I type this blog... I will also admit that I have had no issues {to this date} with any of my Ettika pieces tarnishing AND I even have worn them in the ocean, to my workouts, and in the shower... I literally don't take off my jewelry EVER and I have had absolutely NO issues, SOOOOO get shopping ladies {or guys for yo ladies}!!

THE BOAT TOTE:

If you haven't figured out by now, I am quite the planner. I legit plan my days down down to the half hour so planning my birthday was so much fun {and kinda stressful} BUT I wanted the girls to be full of surprises because I wanted my birthday weekend to be one of the most photogenic and most instagrammable {I don't even think that's a word} things they have been to... I even set up my diva light, but that's beside the point. My point is that I wanted the girls to be getting goodies throughout the day so I came up with the idea of a "boat tote" since we would be out in the heat and on the lake for a few hours of the party, and I am soooooo fortunate that I had the help from a couple great companies that truly pulled these bags together {not to mention, my mama's leopard JCrew tote bag find}.

I mean... Don't you want to get your hands on one of these babies?!?!

COOLA -- Talk about a sun savior!! Honestly, COOLA took my organic sun protection virginity and I will NEVER use another product from here on out. All their products are "as natural, organic, sustainable, and locally sourced as can be" and they smell so dang yummy. The three products they sent for my lil birthday bash are: Mineral Sun Silk Créme, Sunscreen Spray, and Makeup Setting Spray {ps: just click on the item and you'll be redirected in another window to that product... you're welcome}.

Let me introduce their Mineral Sun Silk Créme to you... It's oil free {score!!} and it's SPF 30 {aka you can still get your tan on} AND their "non-nano Zinc Oxide provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection while [their] plant-derived Full Spectrum 360° complex helps mitigate the effects of today’s modern-world skin-aggressors – HEV light, IR, and pollution." Their Sunscreen Spray is one of the staff's favorites and I DON'T BLAME THEM!! The water {and sweat} resistant sunscreen is also SPF 30 AND it comes in a variety of flavors // scents: Tropical Coconut, Piña Colada {that's what I got}, and fragrance free. I'll be 112% honest with you though, I think their Makeup Setting Spray was the item that was used the most on the boat and there was never a moment where the boat did not smell like pure paradise. Did I mention that the setting spray also has some SPF in it?! It's 30 SPF to be exact, and I don't know about y'all but none of my other setting sprays have every protected me from the sun like that {I've used Glossier, Two Faced, MAC, etc.} AND on top of the sun protection, it is also matte so your face won't be super shiny or oily looking... I think it was truly the showstopper cause we all knew about the insane amount of photos that were going to be taken and we didn't want out faces to look like they were melting off {lol}. ALSO did I mention that COOLA "incorporate[s] antioxidant-rich Plant Protection® into [their] sunscreens, which is a selection of plant-based ingredients including Algae and Red Raspberry Seed Oil that help naturally boost our formulas’ efficacy"?!

VINGLACÉ -- Hello cold drinks foreverrrrrrr!! I am NOT even kidding when I tell you that these were AMAZING {and well... ARE AMAZING} and you NEED to get them now. For all my fellow wine // champagne, White Claw, beer, any beverage basically lovers, Vinglacé products will NOT disappoint. I learned about this company through a PR agency and I am absolutely hooked {aka: friends of mine, be prepared to get them as gifts cause I want to do more damage} and they were so sweet to hook me up with enough wine glasses for my girls and me, a wine glass for the captain {who was lame and decided to be responsible and not drink and drive a boat... jk I'm proud of him for not falling into peer pressure}, and two wine chillers!!

Let me just tell you about our time with Vinglacé though and prove to y'all why you NEED to make these purchases RIGHT NOW. First thing's first, They are indestructible {or so I believe, for the most part}. That means, you can take these babies on picnics, toss them into your bag // backpack, drop them on the floor {but don't spill or waste any wine... and I don't recommend doing that on purpose}, take these to the beach or on a hike, etc. You get the picture I assume BUT did I mention they come in a variety of colors too?! Next, they keep your dankssssss cold for HOURS!! We were cruising on a boat {in 92º weather} for about five hours and poured all of our individual BABE wines into our glasses and they tasted so crisp and cold while the Veuve was chilling in the two wine chillers until the last like hour of our ride and those also tasted like they straight up were just pulled out of an ice chest.

Have I sold you on them yet or do I have to tell you that "with the benefit of stainless steel and vacuum insulation, but with the purity and elegance of glass, [their] glasses are one of a kind"?! I know I definitely can't be the only person to admit to tasting that stainless steel taste every so often. I'll admit I have a stash of Swell bottles and Corkcicle bottles {Swell was the first fad I participated in} and I would take them EVERYWHERE; however, there would be times that I tasted the steel if my water... Now, imagine that taste mixed with wine... YIKES!! That's why you do NOT want to wait to order your Vinglacé because I'll tell you now {before it's too late}: some items and colors are very limited!!

BABE -- I know this is NOT my first time mentioning this brand {including in this post} but I can't help but share my love for this company and the partnership that I have grown to have with them... They know how to have a freakin good time. If only you could see how many dang cans we consumed on the boat... BUT this portion, I'm not going to go over that {cause I talked about the drinks in the set up} BUT I will tell you that the guy I have been working with {shoutout!!} had a man personally deliver BABE hats for ALL my babes... Like if that isn't one dang good business relationship, I don't freakin know what is!! I'll be honest with you here too: Unfortunately one of my best friends had to back out the day of since she was supposed to come from Arizona but ended up in the hospital BUT the hats were such a hit that the captain asked for one, so he got hers.

Anyways, you can treat yourself like the queens {or kings} you are and treat yourself to a BABE Rosé Bundle that comes with 3 x 4 packs of BABE, one bottle of the White Girl Rosé, AND a hat if you want to walk around town in style cause you best believe there are SOOOOOO many babes in Los Angeles {my friends especially lol} who are rockin these hats.

REVIVE & REFRESH:

The gist of the set up was to obviously have the girls arrive, get their jewelry to feel blinged up for photos, go on the boat {with the help of the boat tote}, get a lil tipsy, come home to get refreshed with some cocktails my brother made, treat ourselves to some refreshing goodies {that my mama would set up when we were gone}, shower up, and have a full on girl's night. I'll tell you now though, there were a couple of blackouts {and y'all already know about the throwing up}, so you have to believe me when I tell you that the laid back girl's night did not end up in everybody in matching jammies and face masks as much as it ended up in only two girls having a cocktail and the rest of us laying {very unwell} on the hardwood floor watching Phineas and Ferb.

I'm not joking either when I tell you that the "revive & refresh" goodies are some of the best and I am glad a few of the girls got to try out some of my favs and fall in love with some new products, and I'm glad those that didn't got to take some home {and I got texts about the products later}... I mean with products {and a display} that good looking, how could you NOT be tempted?!

FAVE 4 -- Okay, y'all have seen me post on my insta about this company before... I was soooo lucky to have had the opportunity to work with them while I was living in Fort Worth, and my word I don't know what my hair would do without Fave 4 {even my hairdresser uses it because of all the benefits}. I mean, everybody HAS to have their favorite haircare products {and I'll be honest, I use about three or four brands religiously} and this is one of mine. I am NOT kidding when I tell you this: Fave 4 is a treat for your hair and it will also leave you smellin like a snack {lol}; I always get compliments about how yummy my hair smells when I use their products {if you know me, you know smells mean A LOT to me haha}. Before I go more into the products, I just want to share with y'all what they sent me for my girls {again, all linked so you can treat your hair too} and you best believe that I will be doing I will be doing some hair tutorials once my schedule mellows out a lil bit more and I have time to do some editing, so make sure you've subscribed to me on YouTube!!

Now let me tell you more about your products because I'm sure a lot of you guys are thinking that you've already found the ONE or TWO brands you enjoy using for your hair BUT I'm here to tell y'all that this is one company you will want to add to your list. Fave 4 is not only sooooo affordable {I've legit spent $60+ on a single shampoo and I question myself looking back on it} BUTTTTT all Fave 4 products are free of gluten, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, MEA & DEA, and mineral oil!!

SIMPLY RADIANT -- I'm about to tell you guys about your new FAVORITE skincare brand. I'm not even joking when I tell you that Simply Radiant is one of my favorites {and also so dang affordable to those of you ballin on a budget... like myself}. I also want to tell you that one of my best friends who attended my party and works for an upscale skincare brand told me she is OBSESSED with her new goodies and she can't wait to do some more damage on Simply Radiant {she used the mask and the serum}. Not to mention the other three girls who managed to try their Simply Radiant goodies at my house fell in love with the mud mask.

Now, for those of you who know me, you'd know that I take my skincare routine EXTREMELY seriously. I have super sensitive skin, so just the slightest touch of something bad for my skin {or even me just eating something bad} results in a rash or a breakout... Basically, I want to let you know that when it comes to companies, Simply Radiant uses the most pure and natural ingredients. The fewer, the better {and they're all listed online and on the packaging for anybody and everybody to see}. I'll also let you know that I first started using Simply Radiant because the woman who began the business {you can read about her story HERE} makes the MOST BEAUTIFUL Glimmer Goddess Body Butter. GAME CHANGER!!

When it comes down to the party, Shannon {the founder}, was sooooo dang sweet and sent my girls and myself the Organic Mud Mask, the Body Butter Trio, and the Firming Serum... She even freakin and wrapped each product in pink tissue paper, sealed everything with a Simply Radiant sticker, put the products for each girl in a goodie bag, and included her card and two lil face mask scoopers. Talk about going above and beyond!! Shannon is an absolute angel {or should I say goddess} and all of her products will NOT disappoint. Like, you NEED to do some damage NOW cause you know I'm going to be doing some damage {or more like a lot of damage} for my girl friends for the holidays coming up!!

PATCHOLOGY -- Are y'all surprised I had to have a variety of skincare products?! I literally THRIVE on skincare products, so I figured I would share my love and I have been lucky enough to work with Patchology via a PR company {where I first heard about them} and they were so sweet to send us the Resting Beach Face Kit which consists of two face mask sheets and two lip gels.

This company has been recognized in magazines such as People, BAZAAR, Forbes, allure, Woman's Day, amongst others and I absolutely love their products because they are SOOOOO easy on the go. If you noticed at the beginning of this post, I mentioned that I was on set for a show... That means long freakin days {sometimes in gross heat or on set with smoke} and tons of makeup. You already know I'm going to say I love my skin and I want to do everything I can to preserve the youthfulness and the dewy glow, SOOOO I actually keep organic makeup wipes in my glove compartment to take off my face entirely and immediately after clocking out AND THEN I love to put a sheet mask on my face for my drive home {I'll be honest, I tend to only do this when I wrap at night because I'd personally be freaked out if I looked into someone's car and saw someone with a white sheet mask on them lol}.

Like I said though, these kits {and truly all of Patchology's products} are AMAZING for my babes that are on the go. They're perfect for long road trips, for flights, or even just for a quick rejuvenation between workouts. Now start taking care of your face because you will regret it when you're older and you don't!!

SURPRISE GOODIES:

You best believe that I was going to keep the goodies going throughout the night because the party does NOT stop at the Doder's house. With that I'm going to preface this section by telling you that growing up I remember it ALWAYS being cold and // or rainy on my birthday. I literally would BEG for pool parties but I wasn't allowed because the pool would be outside and it was too cold and blah blah blah. In hopes {or more like just exceptions} of it being cold, the next two things that I'm going to share with y'all are going to be PERFECT for the months coming up.

SO CALI CREATIONS -- If you guys thought I wasn't going to be bringing back my lil company, So Cali Creations, upon moving back to California, YOU'RE WRONG!! I'm back baby and once again I just want to keep up with the newest {and greatest} fad ever... TIE DYE!! I am sticking to the reason why I even started SCC though so don't worry; I want girls who are ballin on a budget {like myself lol help me I'm poor} to be able to wear my creations and not feel like they're making a huge dent in their wallets.

With that in mind, I wanted each of my girls to be able to rep a super adorable {pop of pink of course} oversized sweatshirt wherever they are... It's fashion {seriously, look it up}!! It was also one of the greatest hits of the party and you better believe it's what the girls opened right when we got home from the boat. We all got into our cozy sweatshirts and then managed to make our way onto the couch and the hardwood floor to watch Phineas and Ferb {I wasn't kidding in the beginning of this post}.

Now -- If any of y'all who are reading this post want to get yourself a super cute SCC sweatshirt {hoodies or crewneck}, all you have to do is head to the insta page and slide in those DMs babyyyy!! This is the ONE and ONLY time I'm going to tell y'all it's alright to slide in my DMs because trust me, I look at them all {for this reason} and I have gotten some freakin weird messages before. SOOOOO, don't ask me for nudes, don't ask me to be your sugar baby, don't ask me for pics of my feet... Message me if you want to make one of the best decisions of your life {lol}.

I swear, I have been complimented every time I wear mine in public!! I have also had friends ask me for them for their birthdays {shoutout Sav}, people who I have mutual friends with message me, etc. Also, to make matters even better for y'all, I have about a one week turnaround time from the date you order AND I don't charge extra for taxes and shipping!!

POST DIN ONESIES -- First of all, can y'all just take a moment and look at the packaging of these?! The bag, the bows, the name tags... The ENTIRE aesthetic {and of the sweatshirts too} is thanks to my mama who spent HOURS and DAYS of no sleep for a week to help me prepare for this party.

Now, let's get to what's actually on the inside of the giraffe bags... If you guessed onesies, you NAILED IT!! My mama did the honor of purchasing onesies for all the girls {and I was sure to link them below for y'all}. This was the one thing that the girls knew they were actually going to get because I texted them giving them the choice of animals {relating to the theme of course} and sizes BUT they didn't know when they were actually going to get their onesies. Unfortunately I think it was a lil toasty {and some of us were a lil too tipsy} to put them on so we stuck to pj shorts and the sweatshirts {but I think three girls actually managed to put a onesie on for a little bit of time}.

All I can tell you though is once the Fall gets a lot cooler, you can plan on seeing me wandering around my house in my lion onesie and maybe even walking around town cause yolo and you can do the same just by clicking on the products below {you're welcome}.

GET IN MY TUMMY {din & dessert}:

Now this is going to be the sad part for me to admit {and kinda really embarrassing}... I swear, I was nonstop apologizing to my mama the entire week after my birthday and to my girl friends who came as well. I may or may not have had too many BABE wines and champagne {blame it on the alcohol, am I right?!} that I ended up basically sleeping through dinner and cake. I was one of the ones who was feeling unwell {surprise surprise} and I could not get myself to eat anything for din OR CAKE!! LIKE WHO THE HECK REFUSES CAKE?! This is my way of telling y'all though I really truly did not get any photos of food or the cake when it looked presentable {but I do have a pic of when my mama picked it up from the store}...

DINNER -- Okay, as I mentioned, I am so sorry that I don't have any photos for y'all. Like, I really truly am so embarrassed... There are NO words for how apologetic I was following Saturday; HOWEVER, because I'm thinking about the food and I did see it at a point {and smell it of course}, I'll let you know what we ate because just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

Everybody RAVED about the dinner, so shoutout mama for being a bomb af cook {and shoutout to the girls who didn't eat that much because I got all the leftovers for the following two days and it was AMAZING}. My mama grilled some chicken on the BBQ {and made some of her infamous chicken sauce... I always just wanna sip on it like soup}, she had a spread of grilled veggies {onions my favorite, bell peppers, zucchini, asparagus, etc}, there was a variety of salad, and then of course a selection of plain fruit and veggies. I swear, it was INCREDIBLE and if I could go back and eat it all, I would... SOBERLY {lol}.

SUSIE CAKES -- Would you HONESTLY expect anything less than a Susie Cakes spread for my birthday?! My mama put a lot of blood {not really}, sweat {again, not really}, and money into making sure we had the yummiest and cutest cake and cupcakes for my party!! I seriously think she went back and forth like four times {not including the pick up} just to show the lady what to make. She actually drew out a sketch with Crayolas {cause it just HAD to be color coordinated} of what the cake would be... She went above and beyond to make the food spread and dessert spread AMAZING!!

So, I'll let you know what I got now, since I'm sure y'all are wondering. The cake is funfetti {obviously} and it was soooo tall {I think like 7 dang layers!!} and then the zebra cupcakes were vanilla and the giraffe cupcakes were chocolate. Now, if y'all know me, you'd know that I can't have dairy or gluten... THIS is what I'm willing to risk it for!!

Hint for any Susie Cakes virgins out there {hopefully there aren't many}: FREEZE THE CAKE SLICES!! My best friend {shoutout Tati} is the one who taught me that secret and you will NOT regret it... Plus, if you don't like too much frosting, it makes getting the frosting off THAT much easier.

Now -- If you couldn't tell by the extent of this post, I am SOOOOO fortunate to have so many amazing companies work with me, my mama who helped me pull the entire weekend together, and the best girl friends to celebrate it with!! I know this post is super delayed BUT I just wanted to be sure to thank EVERYBODY who made my birthday so dang special. I received so many sweet birthday texts, so many insta-g mentions {and DMs}, a few LinkedIn messages from people I don't even know {stranger danger, but make it kindness?}, and Facebook posts {which I still need to respond to cause I'm never actually on Facebook}. Twenty-three was definitely a special year... Senior {and super senior year}, graduation, making new friends, moving back to California, etc. BUTTTT I can't wait to see what twenty-four has in store for me!!

When I have some time to do some more copywriting {because this post took SOOOO dang long just cause I wanted to make sure y'all got ALL the details}, I promise I have some exciting posts {and vlogs} planned!!
